One Little Lace Sock Complete
This is the first of the Medrith's Little Lace Sock from A Gathering of Lace. I like the way it came out, although it is a little small. Kiddo had to squeeze and stretch to get it over her heel. The sock is not for her, so I knew the foot would be a bit short. I may have to rethink the person I was going to gift these socks to for Christmas.
I do like this lace pattern. For those who are wondering about the size, it is written in two sizes and I chose the smaller one. I also knit fairly tight when knitting socks.
Now one more to do...
Finish the Cozy Knit Sock in Opal Petticoat...
Cast on for the Friday Harbor Sock...
Repeat all socks one more time!
I spoke to the Magnificent Marlow today. I know y'all are jealous. He got my balance due whittled down to size in no time. We agreed on the amount and I paid it pronto. It isn't due until the 25th, but I wanted to pay it before someone changed their mind and did something else on the account.
Kiddo and her friend found a wallet this weekend with more than $400 in cash, several credit cards, etc. They turned it to the store near where they found it. They owner of the store knew the owner of the wallet. Each girl got a small reward, which was nice. I know that person had to be relieved to get it back...not just for the money...but for all the aggravation avoided of cancelling credit cards, getting new ones and new driver's licence, etc.

Oh wow...that is one gorgeous sock! I'm just learning lace and I love it. Now, lace with little needles...might be a bit much for me. I'm impressed!

So glad to hear the Magnificent Marlow is true to his word. Think he can give the rest of the world a few lessons?

Beautiful sock! And thank goodness for the Magnificent Marlow! I think the cellular companies should have him cloned--I know I'll hope for a Marlow the next time I have cell phone issues. And I know there will be issues--it's just a matter of time! =)
