He's Home!
DH came home from the hospital today! I have no doubt that the prayers and good thoughts on our behalf played a part in him being able to come home so quickly. Thank you!
The pharmacy has delivered all the supplies, now I am waiting for the nurse to arrive this evening. Our usual home nursing service was full and short staffed and unable to take him this time, so we will be working with a new service.
I appreciate so much the comments, emails and cards. I know when it is all spelled out the way I did it in the last post - it looks overwhelming. Just realize it didn't all happen in a day or two...but over the past six years. We have learned to take it one day at a time, and do what needs to be done. You would do the same thing if you were faced with a situation like this. Most of us are much stronger than we realize. My faith sustains me, and I am ever grateful that no matter how big or stressful the day might be, God is able to supply the necessary strength to get through it. He has blessed me with the ability to learn and retain medical procedures quickly so DH can come home to recuperate instead of staying in the hospital or rehab for weeks at a time.
In knitting news, there hasn't been a lot - but I hope to change that this evening. I was able to get a pair of socks off to my sockless pal who didn't receive socks in the sockapaltwoza. My helper mailed them on Wednesday, so I am hopeful she will receive them today or tomorrow. I hope they fit and she likes them!
Kiddo's dance team is having an all day dance clinic for little girls in grades 1 - 4 tomorrow. She is all excited about it. They will teach the little ones a dance routine, and in a few weeks they will get the chance to perform with the big girls at a basketball game. It is great fun. Kiddo got to do it when she was a wee one.
Have a great weekend. Spread some joy!

Great news! good luck.

Bliss! I LOVE my socks and the sock yarn you sent me... I can't tell you enough how much it means to me that you found the time and energy to send them out amidst everything else you are taking care of right now. My thoughts and prayers are with DH and you throughout his recovery!
