I highly recommend this pattern and the Bernat denim style yarn for an easy knit, and easy care garment at a great value. I like all of the Knitting Pure & Simple patterns I have tried. Kiddo loves it, and as soon as family members saw it - they all wanted one too. BIG kuddos to Chris for putting in the zipper for me, which kept this from being a terminal WIP.
I know her expression does NOT look like she is very thrilled. The picture was taken early on a very cold morning after too many hours spent at the hospital during DH's open heart surgery. She wanted to be somwhere warm sleeping, not standing out in the yard with a camera-happy mother. It is also not as mishapen as it looks. Why do girls love to pull the sleeves down over their hands?
